BELGRADE: According to his office, Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic was admitted to a military hospital in Belgrade on Saturday after returning from the United States, but no explanation was provided.
According to Serbian media, Vucic “was admitted to the Military Medical Academy immediately after landing” in Belgrade after becoming ill and ending his trip to see US President Donald Trump in Florida.
It stated that more thorough details regarding Vucic’s health would be made public “in good time”.
According to national Serbian TV RTS, Vucic had originally planned to meet Trump but ended his trip early after consulting a doctor about his illness.
