According to Palestinian authorities, scores of Israeli settlers raided a Palestinian community in the occupied West Bank, killing three Palestinians.
On Wednesday night, video footage from Kafr Malik, close to Ramallah, showed Palestinians fleeing as gunfire could be heard, along with a burning car and house.
According to the Israeli military, when troops arrived on the site, they discovered villagers and settlers hurling stones at one another. It further stated that a number of “terrorists” fired and threw stones at the troops, who fired back and detected hits. Five Israelis were also taken into custody.
The Palestinian foreign ministry described the settlers’ “terrorist assault” as involving settlers shooting at villagers in their houses.
