DUBAI: Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi declared on Saturday that Tehran will never compromise on its “nuclear rights” if the US wants to deny it them.
A day before Iran and the United States are scheduled to hold another round of nuclear talks in Oman, Araqchi was giving a speech in Doha.
Araqchi was quoted by state media as saying, “I state clearly that Iran will not back down from any of its rights if the goal of the negotiations is to deprive Iran of its nuclear rights.”
Iran has denied a “zero enrichment” demand by certain US officials and has stated time and time again that its right to enrich uranium is unassailable.
