KARACHI: The Pakistan Space and Upper Atmosphere Research Commission (Suparco) has predicted that Eid ul Adha will take place on June 7.
According to the space agency, depending on the official moon sighting, the first day of Zil Hajj, the last month in the Islamic lunar calendar, is probably going to be performed on May 29. According to this forecast, Saturday, June 7 is Eid ul Adha.
According to Suparco, the Zil Hajj moon will be born on May 27 at 8:02 a.m., but it will only be 11 hours and 34 minutes old at sunset on that day, meaning there is very little chance of seeing it anywhere in the nation.
In a similar vein, astronomer Dr. Faheem Hashmi had previously announced that June 7 will be the day of Eid ul Adha.
