Pakistan’s all-weather strategic ally, China, praised Islamabad’s responsible behavior amid the ongoing impasse with India on Thursday.
Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan Jiang Zaidong expressed gratitude for the recent return of peace and stability in the region and expressed the hope that peace would benefit Pakistan during a luncheon held by Federal Minister for Planning, Development, and Special Initiatives Ahsan Iqbal.
Earlier this month, Pakistan’s armed forces launched a large-scale retaliatory military action, named “Operation Bunyan-um-Marsoos”, and targeted several Indian military targets across multiple regions.
