Pakistan vehemently denounced Israel’s “unjustified and illegitimate aggression” against Iran on Thursday, calling on the UN and the international community to act quickly to protect international law and punish Israel responsible.
“The Israeli military operations blatantly violate the UN Charter and core principles of international law, as well as Iran’s sovereignty and territorial integrity. At a weekly press briefing on Thursday, Foreign Office spokeswoman Shafqat Ali Khan stated that Iran has the right to self-defense under Article 51 of the UN Charter.
He added that Pakistan condemned the Israeli activities as flagrant provocations that seriously jeopardize regional and international peace, security, and stability and expressed “resolute solidarity” with the Iranian people.
