The non-bailable arrest warrant for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur in the guns and liquor seizure case was suspended by an Islamabad federal magistrate on Thursday.
Judicial Magistrate Mubashir Hassan Chishti made the decision following CM Gandapur’s court appearance in the guns and liquor case, which was filed at the Bhara Kahu Police Station in Islamabad.
Raja Zahooul Hassan, the attorney for Gandapur, informed the magistrate at the beginning of the session that the chief minister’s bail had been granted by the Peshawar High Court (PHC) until July 3.
When CM Gandapur appeared, Hassan requested that the non-bailable arrest warrant be suspended.
