In response to Iran’s missile strikes on a US military installation in Qatar, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has voiced grave concerns and called for immediate action to reduce tensions and bring about regional peace.
In a phone call with Ali Mubarak Ali Essa Al-Khater, Qatar’s ambassador to Pakistan, PM Shehbaz conveyed his support for the Qatari government and people during this trying time.
The envoy from Qatar expressed gratitude to the prime for contacting him right away following this regrettable incident.
In the meantime, PM Shehbaz emphasized the importance of reducing tensions in the Middle East during a phone call with Nawaf bin Saeed Al Malkiy, the ambassador of Saudi Arabia to Pakistan.
“Pakistan and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia will continue to collaborate closely.”
