A $194 million loan for Pakistan has been authorized by the World Bank.
The World Bank reports that the money would be used for two distinct initiatives in the province of Balochistan that will enhance water security and children’s educational chances.
The programs are intended to lessen educational deprivation in Balochistan, according to World Bank Country Director Najy Benhassine. The Balochistan Water Security Project, he continued, will contribute to strengthening the province’s ability to withstand the effects of climate change.
The World Bank added that Balochistani investments in human development and infrastructure will generate jobs in the area.
