For the F1 sequel, Joseph Kosinski has come up with a crazy idea.
The 51-year-old American filmmaker stated in an interview with GQ Magazine UK that he would want to work with Tom Cruise on a Days of Thunder crossover in a follow-up to his recently released Bard Pitt racing picture.
Notably, Kosinski and Cruise collaborated on the $1.4 billion successful Top Gun: Maverick and are currently working on a third Top Gun film.
“Well, right now, it’d be Cole Trickle, who was [Cruise’s] ‘Days of Thunder’ character, and we find out that he and [Brad Pitt’s] Sonny Hayes have a past,” he remarked, recollecting his dream.
