Pakistan would keep playing a positive role in advancing Middle East peace, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif declared on Thursday.
Details indicate that PM Shehbaz and US Secretary of State Marco Rubio spoke over the phone. The United States and Pakistan have decided to continue working closely together to improve their bilateral ties, with an emphasis on increasing commerce.
The prime minister praised President Donald Trump’s “bold and decisive leadership” on this occasion, which led to the Iranian-Israeli ceasefire.
Additionally, he thanked Rubio for the important role the US played in helping Pakistan and India reach a ceasefire accord.
