As of Wednesday, reporters discovered that the Trump T1 phone’s website no longer carried the “Made in the USA” phrase that was used in promotional materials for the device when it was first released on June 16.
However, according to Trump Mobile, the phone will continue to be manufactured in the United States.
“Speculation to the contrary is simply inaccurate,” a representative told the news outlet.
To learn more, they directed customers to Trump Mobile’s website. “We’re excited to launch the phones later this year, but in the meantime, anyone can switch to Trump Mobile now with their current phones,” they added.
An “American-Proud Design” is now included as one of the Trump T1 phone’s primary features in language on the company’s website promoting the release of its next mobile plan for Americans.
