RAWALPINDI: Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, the Chief of Army Staff (COAS), has called on young officers to uphold the highest standards of professionalism, integrity, and patriotism in the performance of their duties to the country.
He said these things Thursday at the Army Auditorium while speaking to probationary officers from the 52nd Common Training Programme (CTP) of the Civil Services Academy.
The meeting was a component of a larger nationwide effort to improve institutional coordination and foster greater understanding between Pakistan’s military and civilian leadership.
The officers had stayed with Pakistan Army formations stationed in operational and peacetime zones throughout Azad Jammu & Kashmir, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Balochistan as part of their training.
