The English actress Bella Ramsey, who is best known for her portrayal of Lyanna Mormont in Game of Thrones, recently got a major part in Daisy Haggard’s brand-new drama series Maya on Channel 4.
“This story and these characters Daisy has created are so alive, nuanced, wickedly funny, and scarily dark,” Ramsey told Deadline in an interview about the project.
“Every character jumps off the page, the dialogue is incredibly witty, and I’m so excited to get to play Maya opposite Daisy’s Anna,” she added, expressing her excitement further.
Haggard told the newspaper, “There has only ever been one Maya since I first dreamed up this show,” in reference to the casting.
