Following the Pahalgam attack in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK), which claimed at least 26 civilian lives and sparked a full-scale conflict between the two nuclear-armed neighbors, India quietly lifted the digital ban on the accounts of some Pakistani celebrities and entertainment platforms.
Reopened access to previously prohibited social media accounts, such as YouTube channels and Instagram accounts, was reported by a few internet users.
Popular Pakistani celebrities including Yumna Zaidi, Dananeer Mobeen, Ahad Raza Mir, Azaan Sami Khan, Mawra Hocane, Ameer Gilani, and Danish Taimoor were among the accounts that were now available.
Three significant Pakistani entertainment networks’ YouTube accounts have also been reinstated, according to Indian X users, who emphasized this development.
