Karachi: According to police, a lady detained on theft charges in Karachi has already completed a three-year term in Islamabad and claims to have earned an award from a former prime minister when she was incarcerated.
The prize was awarded in appreciation of the needlework she did while inside, she told investigators.
According to the police, the accused, a Faisalabad resident, is also the subject of other theft cases in Lahore. Additionally, in December 2024, a citizen filed a complaint against her.
According to the FIR, the woman drugged a home by putting sedatives in tea, making them drowsy, then stole jewelry, money, and other valuables before escaping.
