KARACH: After defeating Indonesia in straight sets with scores of 25-23, 25-20, and 25-20 in the crossover round on Wednesday, Pakistan moved to the Asian U16 Volleyball Championship semifinals and earned a spot in the U17 World Cup for the next year.
With the victory, Pakistan’s winning run in the competition now stands at four games, all without losing a set. Prior to going into the crossover round, Pakistan had won three straight games to top its preliminary group stage. It carried over the points from its match against Korea, where it played Indonesia in the opening match.
Pakistan made an incredible comeback to win the first set 25-23 after falling behind 3-12 early on. They also had control of the match the entire time.
