Louis Tomlinson recently said that he was leaving social media.
The former member of One Direction took to X, formerly Twitter, to address the “conspiracy chat” and intrusive rumors about his personal life that had become “too much.”
He said he made this decision because of the more and more toxic internet discourse, especially over his connection with Zara McDermott, the social media butterfly, his kid Freddie, and even his late mother.
“For me, it’s simply too much and too painful to witness! The message ended, “Thank you to everyone who has my back no matter what.”
Shortly after ending her relationship with Made in Chelsea star Sam Thompson, the 33-year-old musician began dating Zara in March 2025.
