After diagnostic tests at a private hospital, another Congo virus case has been verified in Karachi.
According to information that came to light on Wednesday, hospital personnel stated that the patient, Muhammad Irfan, 33, was admitted with symptoms such as fever and oral hemorrhage. He was transported from Landhi’s Cattle Colony.
The patient was moved to the critical care unit (ICU), according to hospital officials. According to the latest reports, his condition is getting better.
To lower the danger of transmission, health officials have recommended that people stay away from affected animals and to take the necessary precautions.
Two Congo virus-related deaths were recorded in Karachi last month.
