According to the most recent Gallup & Gilani Pakistan study, over half of Pakistanis (48%) claim they bought used clothes from Landa Bazaars in the previous year, including coats and sweaters.
The nationally representative survey demonstrates the continued significance of second-hand marketplaces nationwide, especially during periods of rising inflation and concerns about the cost of living, in a striking reflection of consumer behavior and economic realities.
The question posed to the respondents was: “Have you bought coats, sweaters, or clothing from second-hand markets (Landa Bazaar) in the last year?” Of those who responded, 48% said “yes,” and 51% said “no.” Only 1% of respondents declined to answer or were unsure.
