KARACHI: The teachers’ organization at Karachi University announced on Thursday that the Pakistan Rangers, Sindh, sector commander has suspended the individuals engaged in mistreatment of Professor Dr. Afaaq Ahmed.
Following a meeting at the staff club today, the Karachi University Teachers’ Society (Kuts) released the statement. Three days prior, an educator was slapped by a Rangers official for asking him not to burn trash outside his home in the university’s staff colony.
The professor’s eye was injured and his spectacles were broken as a result of the assault.
The teachers’ association called for appropriate action against those guilty and urged a fair and unbiased investigation into the incident a day ago.
