Residents in Gowalmandi and Katarian were ordered to evacuate after the water level in Nullah Leh rose to a frightening 21 feet. Families were urged to evacuate right away by mosque loudspeakers and sirens. Residents were relieved when the evacuation orders were lifted when the rain stopped and the water levels fell to seven feet in Katarian and five feet in Gowalmandi.
