According to News on Friday, which cited the website IranWire, an Iranian woman who is accused of killing eleven husbands in order to gain their wealth appeared in court this week in what is regarded as one of the nation’s most comprehensive serial murder cases.
According to the prosecution, Kulthum Akbari was accused of giving elderly husbands deadly dosages of a combination of diabetes and sex-enhancing medicines during a 22-year period starting in 2000.
After Azizollah Babaei passed away in 2023, the case gained widespread attention. An investigation was prompted by his son’s allegations.
According to a family friend, Babaei had previously wed a lady named Kulthum, who had allegedly tried to murder him. She was identified by Babaei’s relatives as his most recent wife, and they informed the police.
