ISLAMABAD In order to assist Pakistan in coping with the terrible consequences of the 2025 monsoon season, the United Kingdom has announced £1.33 million in humanitarian aid.
Over 223,000 individuals in seven flood-affected areas in Punjab, Gilgit Baltistan (GB), and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) will benefit from the funds.
According to the statement, the UK’s assistance is making it possible to implement a variety of emergency and recovery measures, such as the distribution of dry food rations, search and rescue missions, mobile medical camps, drinking water system rehabilitation, irrigation channel restoration, and assistance for livelihoods and agriculture.
“Communities affected by flooding and landslides are receiving vital assistance through UK-funded programs,” stated Jane Marriott, the British High Commissioner to Pakistan.
