The update includes four new text formatting choices to help you arrange and beautify your messages.
Bulleted lists, numbered lists, block quotes, and inline code have been added to the set of formatting options, which already includes bold, italics, and monospace.

Here’s how you can use WhatsApp’s new text formatting features:
For bulleted lists.
Type the – symbol, then a space.
For numbered lists.
Type one or two digits, followed by a period and a space.
For block quote.
Type the > symbol followed by a space.
For inline code.
Wrap text using the symbol ‘.

Wrap bold text with the * sign.
