The former Labour leader, who is currently an independent MP, said the following on social media: “In response to a highly defamatory statement about me, I have asked my lawyers to take the first steps in commencing legal proceedings against Nigel Farage.”
It has to do with an episode of News from last Wednesday.
In a statement, Mr. Farage accused Mr. Corbyn of being a subscriber to an antisemitic conspiracy theory.
Mr. Farage is a member of the Reform Party and can be seen on News on a regular basis.
In 2018, Mr. Corbyn filed a lawsuit against Tory MP Ben Bradley, forcing him to issue an apology and make a donation to a food bank.
