Ekta Kapoor, a renowned Indian producer and director, is about to start on an interesting venture by adapting the famous Pakistani drama serial ‘Tere Bin’.
Over the last few years, Pakistani dramas have gained popularity in India, encouraging Indian performers and producers to take note and admire them.
Among the popular dramas from across the border, ‘Tere Bin’, starring Wahaj Ali and Yumna Zaidi, became extremely popular not only in Pakistan, but also in India, Bangladesh, and other nations. Zaidi’s fan base grew dramatically as the serial received global recognition.
Ms Kapoor has collaborated with Colors TV, an Indian broadcaster, to bring the story to an Indian audience, taking advantage of the show’s popularity.
According to sources, she is contemplating Kanika Mann and Ayesha Singh for the starring roles, and the remake’s title is expected to retain “Tere Bin.” The drama is set to premiere on television in July 2024.
