In a recent development in the high-profile murder case of Amir Balaj, Lahore Police have contradicted the claim of the designated culprit, Teefi Butt, throwing new light on the complex web of events surrounding the crime.
According to investigators, the assailant who fatally shot Amir Balaj was not a seasoned Malaysian hitman, as previously thought, but rather a lifelong companion of the accused known as Muzaffar. According to police, Muzaffar was Teefi Butt’s gunman for more than 22 years.
The CIA Police, in concert with investigative efforts, identified the accused using photographic evidence. Pictures apparently show Muzaffar brandishing the weapon used in the deadly shooting, outside the home of another named suspect, Gogi Butt.
Further examination into the timing of events revealed that the shooter allegedly obtained Malaysian citizenship just three months before the attempted attack on Amir Balaj. However, strict security measures foiled his initial attempt to assault the victim in his camp.
In a later development, Ahsan Shah, a man apprehended in connection with the Amir Balaj murder case, was brought before a local court by CIA Police Lahore. The court issued a five-day physical remand for the accused, emphasizing the importance of the continuing inquiry.
