Michael Jackson’s estate has recently thrown light on his mother’s payout, revealing that she received tens of millions from the estate.
A spokesman from Michael Jackson’s estate told TMZ that the estate has submitted a new filing stating that his mother Kathrine had received $55 million since Michael Jackson’s death in 2009.
The announcement came when Kathrine’s grandson, Michael Bigi, submitted a paperwork to prevent his grandmother from utilizing his father’s state funds, prompting an appeal in court.
According to paperwork obtained by TMZ, Michael Jackson’s family is suing the executors of the Jackson estate for carrying out a large transaction against their wishes.
According to TMZ, Michael’s estate claims Katherine has enough money to fund her.Especially because she supposedly receives a $160,000 allowance per month in cash, which amounts to $33 million.
The legal dispute between Jackson’s family and executors of Jackson’s estate has not been published, but according to recent sources, it may be tied to the estate’s agreement with Sony to sell Michael’s portion of the song catalog for $600 million.
Michael Jackson’s younger son Bigi, also known as Blanket, was feuding with his grandmother Katherine until court rejected their objections to the concealed settlement by Jackson’s estate administrators.
