26 years ago, baby “Callum” was found in a Warrington woodland area.
In connection with the incident in July 2023, police detained a man and a woman from Liverpool; they were later freed on bond.
The 54-year-old lady, identified as Joanne Sharkey, was detained again on Monday and is accused of killing someone.
She is scheduled to appear in Warrington Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday after being placed on remand in custody.
“I understand that this is an extremely emotional case that has attracted a lot of attention over the past 26 years, but I would ask people not to speculate,” stated Detective Inspector Hannah Friend.
