Beginning on Tuesday, May 7, and lasting until Thursday, May 9, drivers will be prohibited from working overtime for six days starting on May 6.
The union said that it had not engaged with the government or employers in over a year and accused ministers of “giving up” on resolving the conflict that had lasted almost two years.

At c2c, Greater Anglia, GTR Great Northern Thameslink, Southeastern, Southern, Gatwick Express, and South Western Railway, drivers will walk out on May 7.

There will be strikes at Avanti West Coast, Chiltern Railways, CrossCountry, East Midlands Railway, Great Western Railway, and West the following day, on May 8.
