The government and the Korean Scout Association have come under fire from independent reports, which claimed that the government ignored the scout troop and assumed the lead in planning the event.
However, the administration disputes this.
It declared in a statement that it had solely assisted the Korean Scout Association.
“It is not true at all that the direct cause of the event’s failure is the government’s involvement,” it stated.
