The spouse of the founder of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Shab e Barat, allegedly had two or three drops of “toilet cleaner” added in her diet, according to Bushra Bibi’s spokeswoman Mashal Yousafzai on Thursday.
“We discovered that Bushra Bibi’s Iftar meal had two or three drops of toilet cleaner added to it,” Yousafzai said on the “Geo Pakistan” segment of Geo News. She continued by saying that Bushra’s condition worsened every day following the dinner.
The spokesman said that she had no health issues, including diabetes or high blood pressure, prior to her detention.
She expressed her concern, saying, “Since her arrest, Bushra Bibi’s health has deteriorated, something must have happened.”
Yousafzai, who also serves as the chief minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s advisor, questioned why Bushra’s medical tests had not been carried out despite the court’s three-week directive to the authorities. She also questioned who was stopping the authorities from carrying out the medical examinations.
The court had ordered her endoscopy and blood test to be performed by [authorities]. Yousafzai stated, “An endoscopy indicated gastrointestinal irritation and ulcers.
