Senate Chairman and senior PPP leader Yousaf Raza Gilani reaffirmed his commitment to advancing South Punjab’s development while serving as the region’s additional chief secretary, replacing Fawad Hashim Rabbani.
According to Gillani, the Southern Punjab region is a crucial part of the nation and the protector of food security.
He underlined, “We are in support of a distinct province rather than a separate secretariat for wasaib (the southern Punjab area).
Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani declared, “Our first wish is to establish a separate high court for this region (South Punjab).”
The chairman of the Senate emphasized that he had given the CM House the railway site during my time as prime minister. Gilani pledged his unwavering support for South Punjab’s development.
