The “feels like” temperature in Karachi reached 45 degrees Celsius on Wednesday, leaving residents of the metropolis miserable as hot and muggy weather persists across Sindh.
A private weather station in Karachi’s southern regions reports that the temperature there is 36.8°C and the humidity is 49%.
It should be highlighted, though, that the aforementioned “feels like” temperature is only present in Karachi’s southern regions, including Clifton, DHA, and other neighborhoods. This is because the phenomena is dependent on a number of variables, including humidity levels, which are higher in regions that are near to the coast.
Lower “feels like” temperatures are being experienced in the inner parts of the city; in Malir, for example, the Tariq Bin Ziad community recorded a temperature of 41°C.
