In April, the 15-year-old had a damage to his medial collateral ligament (MCL).
At thirteen, Brown became the youngest Olympic medal winner in history for Great Britain when he took home the bronze in the skateboard park competition in Tokyo 2020.
Brown told news, “I’ve recovered stronger from every injury I’ve had.”
Brown, who is now rated third in the world, may make a comeback to competition in the Olympic second round.
“I’m going to take this time to reflect carefully about my next course of action. It truly lights a fire under my heart—it’s a fact of life and it happens.”
