Following an altercation between the two leaders in the National Assembly, PML-Q legislator Tariq Bashir Cheema offered an apology to Zartaj Gul, the MNA for the Sunni Ittehad Council (SIC), which is endorsed by the PTI, and she accepted it.
The change occurred as a result of NA Speaker Ayaz Sadiq’s respectful resolution of the situation through his intervention. Omar Ayub Khan, the leader of the opposition, praised the speaker for their involvement in the situation.
