The leader of Labour stated on the news that TV debates are “part and parcel of the election cycle now” and that they will “of course” occur.
This comes after Sir Keir’s political rivals called him “spineless” and accused him of “chickening out” of weekly confrontations during the election campaign.
Mr. Sunak issued him a challenge yesterday night to participate in six TV debates discussing topics including taxes, living expenses, and security.
However, Labour stated that Sir Keir would not consent to “tearing up” the previous election’s model “simply to fit this week’s desires of the party.
