According to News, the proportion of Pakistanis who stated they have invested or saved money is growing. This was revealed in a report from the second quarter of Ipsos Pakistan’s Consumer Confidence Survey 2024, which attracted over a thousand nationwide participants.
According to the poll, the proportion of residents who were able to save and invest went from 4% to 15%, while the proportion of citizens who were unable to do so fell from 89% to 85%.
According to Ipsos Pakistan, from September 2023, the percentage of people who indicated they could save has increased to 11%.
The percentage of Pakistanis who voiced hesitation fell by 5% to 7%, while confidence for large purchases like a house or car increased by 5%.While 22% of Pakistanis were optimistic about a turnaround and indicated that the country’s economy might stay strong, 51% of the country’s citizens expressed worry that it would stay weak for the next six years. Of those surveyed, 27% predicted no change.
