While the Pakistan Hajj Mission will host 70,000 official pilgrims, about 90,000 Pakistani pilgrims will complete the Hajj through private Hajj companies.
“Under the official Hajj scheme, 214 flights carried 55,284 pilgrims to Makkah,” he told the reporters.
According to him, around 30,000 pilgrims are currently in Saudi Arabia as part of a private Hajj program. The official stated, “Hajj flight operations will continue until June 9.”
The King was informed at the beginning of the session that all plans and preparations for the Hajj season this year are finished. He was informed about the initiatives, resources, and programs that different government departments were using to improve pilgrims’ comfort and well-being.
King Salman conveyed the satisfaction that Saudi Arabia, its authorities, and its people take in providing for the Two Holy Mosques and its patrons. He prayed to God Almighty, asking him to accept the pilgrims’ good actions and prayers, and to provide them the ability to complete their Hajj ceremonies successfully.
The contents of the messages that King Abdullah of Jordan and President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi of Egypt sent to the Monarch, as well as the message that Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman received from the president of Somalia, were shared with the Cabinet.
