Actor Jeremy Renner, who survived catastrophic injuries from a snowplow accident a year ago, honored his daughter Ava.
When Jeremy Renner was crushed by his machinery while assisting family, he sustained more than thirty fractured bones. His severe injuries, which included a pierced liver, landed him in intensive care for nearly two weeks.
Renner, who is currently on a protracted path to recovery, says his 10-year-old daughter is the “number one reason” he persevered through treatment. He posted a cute black-and-white picture of himself cuddling with Ava on New Year’s Eve, stating that he had begged her to “wait for him” when he got home hurt in January.
He wrote: “She’s the main reason I’m recovering. I told her to “wait for me” when I initially saw her. “Healing your family and friends is the best motivation there is to be well… I want to thank each and every one of you for your love and support throughout the past whole year. I was in need of all the prayers and well wishes.”
The actor also expressed gratitude to the public for liking the poignant Wait music video that he and Ava created. The song expressed how proud a loving father is of his child and recounted Renner’s recovery tale through his eyes.
