Due to a “temporary technical fault,” BA’s baggage system at the airport was affected. The company apologized for the inconvenience.
However, some travelers vented their irritation on social media about the delays; one passenger who arrived at Heathrow referred to the state of affairs as a “shambles”.
BA announced that it has dispatched “additional colleagues” in an effort to reconnect passengers with their bags.
