News reported that Mr. Biden’s family advised him to “keep fighting” at their long-planned photo session at Camp David in Maryland on Sunday. They also discussed the future of his campaign, according to two people familiar with the discussions.
The two people whose opinions he cherishes most, his wife Jill Biden and Mr. Biden’s son Hunter, urged him to continue running because he is the most qualified to defeat the presumed Republican nominee, Donald Trump.
The rest of the family shared this opinion, but they accused the president’s advisors of not doing enough to prepare him.
Campaign manager Julie Chavez Rodriguez informed about forty of Biden’s most prominent financial supporters, informing them that Vice President Kamala Harris would receive the majority of the campaign’s substantial war chest, with the Democratic National Committee (DNC) holding a lesser portion of the funds.
Campaign managers have held multiple meetings in the past few days to try and strengthen support for Joe Biden, who they maintain has a chance to win the election in November.
