Officers stopped a car that appeared to be a UFO and to have futuristic features, and the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office in Missouri published pictures that they had taken of the vehicle.
The agency noticed the humorous side of the situation and shared it on Facebook, writing, “Well, you never know what will be traveling through Crawford County but this one was a little out of this world.”
They stated that the “friendly humanoids” in the UFO-style spacecraft had “come in peace” and were likely headed to a festival in Roswell, New Mexico, a city that has long been associated with extraterrestrial activity.
As stated in the office’s report, there was a brief discussion “about his out of space, correction, out of state registration, but he assured us that he would take care of that issue when he returned to Krypton”.
He was also cautioned to maintain his phasers on stun while traveling and about our severe enforcement of warp speed on the road,” the statement continued.
Social media users responded in a similarly lighthearted manner, with some even posting footage of the automobile driving about. Several individuals claimed to have seen the vehicle somewhere else.
