On Monday, gold prices in Pakistan finally fell after rising for several days.
According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association, 24-karat gold now costs Rs245,100 per tola, a decrease of Rs1,300.
A negative trend was also observed in the price of 10-gram 24-karat gold, which dropped by Rs1,113 to Rs210,134. This comes after the price per tola increased by Rs1,740 on Saturday.
On Saturday, the cost of 10 grams of 22-karat gold stayed at Rs192,622.
On Monday, the global gold market likewise displayed a declining trend. The global rate was $2,376 per ounce at the end of the trading day, down $12, according to APGJSA.
Nonetheless, the price of silver per tola on the local market was steady at Rs 2,900. Market analysts cite a number of reasons for the increase in gold prices, such as changes in the global economy, exchange rates, and the state of the international market. In the upcoming days, consumer behavior and investment decisions may be impacted by the ongoing rise in gold prices.
