PISHIN: On Tuesday, militants attacked a paramilitary force checkpost in the Pishin District of Balochistan, killing two members of the Levies force.
Authorities in Levies report that two policemen, Yasir Ilyas and Abdul Qadeer, accepted death when two armed men on motorbikes opened fire on the checkpost on Kali Malizai Road in Pishin.
The terrorists were able to leave the area in the meanwhile. Following the required procedures, the remains of the martyred Levies employees were given to their families at the hospital.
Officials from the Pishin administration arrived at the scene as soon as the incident was reported, roped off the area, and began a search and arrest operation for the suspects.In recent months, the nation has seen an increase in terrorist attacks and cross-border incursions, particularly in KP and Balochistan.
