A plane disaster in the eastern Caribbean claimed the lives of actor Christian Oliver and his two daughters. The aircraft went down on Thursday afternoon, according to the authorities in the Caribbean nation of St. Vincent and the Grenadines, just west of Petit Nevis, a small private island close to Bequia. According to a statement from the police, the single-engine aircraft had just taken off from the tourist destination of Becquia and was traveling around 65 miles (104 km) in the direction of St. Lucia. The daughters were identified by the officers as Annik Klepser, 12, and Madita Klepser, 10. The police said it was unclear what caused the crash right away. To aid the St. Vincent and Grenadines Coast Guard in their search, local fishermen and divers visited the scene of the crash.
