Following the “technical glitch” that resulted in unblocking, the Indian media reported that the social media accounts of the Pakistani celebrities were once more barred.
Details reveal that the Indian government has once again placed digital limitations on a number of Pakistani celebrities’ social media accounts, a day after they were momentarily made available.
By Thursday morning, users in India could no longer access the profiles of celebrities including Saba Qamar, Ahad Raza Mir, and Mawra Hocane.
According to Indian government officials, the bug momentarily unblocked a number of Pakistani accounts with well-known entertainment material on YouTube, Instagram, and X (previously Twitter).
Many saw the sudden access as a subdued reversal of the months-long social media restriction on Pakistani content in India, which caused uncertainty and conjecture.
