Hector David Rivera’s truck was sitting in a disabled parking space at a shopping center in Nampa, Idaho, when a guy approached the truck, according to municipal police spokesperson Carmen Boeger.
The victim, a 60-year-old man with a walking frame, snapped photos of a pickup truck’s license plate that was parked in the designated disabled space.
According to Boeger, the victim is shown on camera being pushed to the ground, after which the man stands over him and utters “harsh words”.
After the attack, the man left the victim on the ground and left in a four-door pickup with Texas license plates, according to a statement posted on Facebook by the Nampa Police Department.
Thanks to public assistance requests and dashcam footage from the incident, investigators were able to identify Rivera.
Police reported late on Wednesday that Rivera has not turned himself in and has not been located by authorities. An arrest warrant for a misdemeanor has been issued.
A request for comment from Rivera and his representatives was not immediately answered.
