As a sign of Islamabad’s dedication to Beijing, Pakistan is to provide free visas to Chinese nationals beginning on August 14, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif announced on Thursday.
The prime minister made the remarks while having a meeting with a high-ranking Chinese delegation consisting of twelve members, who were invited by Minister Wang Fukang.
Speaking to the delegation, the prime minister said he asked Prime Minister Li Qiang and President Xi Jinping to send experts to Pakistan during his recent visit to China.
The intention is to imitate China’s economy in Pakistan. These specialists are here today, and we have no doubt that things will get better shortly.”
As he welcomed the team and emphasized that China and Pakistan are inexhaustible allies, he also emphasized the importance of industrial cooperation.According to the premier, collaboration and joint ventures will result in a win-win scenario. He expressed hope that Pakistan will benefit and be productive from the delegation’s visit, saying it was very comforting.
Re-entering power for the second time, Shehbaz expected it to strengthen bilateral ties in sectors including industry, agriculture, economic zones, and boost Pakistan’s ability to manufacture high-demand agricultural products in China.
He went on to say that Pakistan could satisfy Chinese demands by exporting goods of the highest caliber and by looking at business prospects in export zones, IT, and mining and minerals.
